Construction

The main carcass ready for finishing.
Computer, monitor and control panel being bench tested.
Bottom cabinet finished with Formica and exposed areas painted black.
Creative Labs speakers mounted in the marquee area. These were just some computer speakers taken out of their plastic case along with the amplifier and mounted on 1/2" MDF. The potentiometer in the middle is for volume control. A fluorescent light fixture is attached to the top to light the Marquee.
My Asteroids Deluxe marquee wasn't enough for this machine. Custom artwork will be created later. The speaker panel is complete and awaits painting.

The monitor is finally mounted. This is a two person job. The D9200 weighs 80 pounds. Not terribly heavy for two people. It is the equivalent of picking up a 5 gallon water jug for each person but the handholds on a bare monitor make lifting it a bit tricky.

The top cabinet is attached to the lower cabinet with lag bolts.

Not quite finished but ready for some play testing.
A slide out keyboard tray for when a keyboard is necessary. Notice the D9200 control panel mounted to the back.
The finished beast complete with custom artwork. I am running the Mame32 front end.
